Non-turned: Spider Chair
This was a thought I had a long time ago. The spider chair! However, the 2x6 can't make 8 legs so I settled for 3. The back leg is cut with compound curves on all sides connected with a reverse angled bridal joint (I don’t know what to call it). The front legs are connected with bridal joints and curved and tapered. All joints were smoothed with drywall compound and painted with "hammered black" spray paint. It can hold a person but is a bit wobbly. It is currently in use as a really cool plant stand in the sunroom.!!!

Ryan,
That is a great project. Those legs are unreal! Highly creative. Bill
